John Brazell, Hamilton's new Superintendent of Schools, has hit the ground running on the 2025-2025 school year. Brazell has spent time with the budget, touring classrooms, and familiarizing himself with school operations.
Brazell's background includes working in school districts as a Band Director, Computer Instructor, Principal, Superintendent, and Business Manager. He holds degrees from Hastings College (BME), Kansas State University (MSE), and Wayne State University (EdS). He is "excited to serve as Superintendent" here at USD 390.
John and his wife, Jean, have four daughters, 13 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. Together, they love to play golf, travel, and spend time with their family and friends.
