During our Tiger Media interview, we interviewed Mr. Shull to learn more about our new teacher. We were really interested in seeing what brought him all the way to Hamilton from La Cygne; he said the good lord above gave him the feeling to return to teaching. In high school, Mr. Schull had an amazing agriculture teacher. Schull stated that he strived to be just like Mr. Atwood. Mr. Schull has been teaching for 23 years; he graduated from college with a bachelor's degree in agriculture education from Kansas State University. Mr. Schull is married and has 2 sons, and is celebrating his 20th anniversary with his wife this year. Mr. Schull's 2 sons are Bryson, who is 19 years old and is a pipeline builder; his other son, Heath, is 17 years old and is attending his last year of high school at Prairie View High School in La Cygne.
Mr. Schull isn't just an amazing teacher; he also has other jobs outside of school. He is a real estate agent for Signature Realty, and he raises a beautiful herd of registered black Angus cattle in his spare time. He also operates a custom hay bale company. Mr. Schull has a really intriguing hobby. During the winter, he enjoys following his dogs Molly and Nelly through the cold to go bird hunting. During the summer, Mr. Schull enjoys team roping on his favorite horse, Cheech, who is 8 years old. Help us give Mr. Schull a very warm Hamilton welcome, and wish him the best year teaching he has ever had.
